When President Trump advised today that the most appropriate solution to prevent Mass-School Shootings would be to arm School teachers with weapons. I couldn’t help but agree with him. And whilst I watched him sit with his hands crossed and back slightly tilted forward, butt slightly hanging off the chair.
I had an epiphany; let’s also arm potential Mass-Shooters with Virtual Reality head sets, so that they can live out their fantasy of a shooting spree at a school without actually harming anyone.
Ofcourse this would work, because whilst the Mass-Shooters would be busy being distracted by the glamorous pixelated version of their fantasy come to life in a graphic form of taking away innocent lives; it would give the government sufficient time to demonstrate proper weapons training to the teachers whose jobs is now not to educate the children but to rather be Rambo in the face of a would-be assassin.
The brilliancy of this idea also lies in the fact that just by the time the weapons training is complete; the Mass-Shooters would also have realised that they’ve been tricked. The Mass-Shooting they just committed wasn’t real; but was in fact within a video game.
Frustrated as the shooters would be; they’d storm to the nearest gun store and purchase themselves a Military Grade weapon and march towards the nearest school of their choosing. Only this time, the mass-shooter would find themselves facing a squadron of teachers armed to the teeth and ready to defend the children they were supposedly tasked to Educate.
Oh what a success, the President will claim — for now the tables would have been turned. The Mass-Shooter is no longer the culprit — but rather a victim outnumbered by the specially trained mass-shooting prevention operatives; our great Teachers.
And just in time that the witnesses would realise that the would-be mass-shooter now pronounced dead, was still wearing his virtual reality head-set; The President would announce how great of a success it was and invite everybody to an exclusive tour to one of his many great golf courses.
And the media headlines would read; virtual reality just helped present a mass-shooting at a nearby school whilst Trump rejoiced and gave a grand tour of his golf-course to the survivors of the shooting.
