To bid farewell.
If only God used Emojis.

It wasn’t the impending horror of what could’ve been, or the good ol’ Kurt Vonnegut Jr. reminders from Cat’s Cradle;
“Of all the words of mice and men, the saddest are ‘It might have been’.”
Reminded of a time when one clocked at 9 a.m. and clocked out at 5 p.m.
Life was just that simple, and there wasn’t alot of time to ponder about the purpose, the idiosyncrasies, the intricate objects and organs that make us tick.
It was, for him, the last day of a career spent in the same building of some 30 odd years; and a life beginning of wondering where to from here.
We’d look into nothingness, and not a word exchanged amongst us.
That if there ever was a purpose, it wasn’t too late to start wondering now.
If we’d really just been put on this Earth, as a mere coincidence.
An error.
A missing Chromosome.
An anomaly.
Surely, there was something that could’ve been…
If only God learnt how to use emojis.
