That’s very kind of you to say, Jonathan. You shouldn’t be the one apologising for I have to be realistic and uphold the belief that every culture deserves respect.

It’s quite sad that the western world which opened its doors to people who truly needed help are now attempting to destroy the very culture that was so inviting.

My upbringing and my religion never taught me to suppress upon anybody else’s lifestyle. I have always opened my doors to people of all beliefs and cultural backgrounds.

I’ve made friends and have some of the greatest of memories with the Irish People, People of Australia, People of America, People of Norway, People of Sweden.

People that are Atheists, Christian, or Jewish. I was taught to respect people.

I do not hold hatred for what is happening, I think we should be the one apologising at this point for being so very ungrateful for demanding change and failing to assimilate. I can’t blame people for reacting the day they are, their very safety and way of life is being threatened.

Whilst I do acknowledge that Muslim Immigrants were in dire need of help, opening the doors to everybody was never going to be a long-term solution; and I can’t hold hatred in my heart because people can’t see clearly that there are good ones left. But I do not mind at all, returning to the place where I was born because I’ve become too insecure and too tired of having to explain things over and over again.

Despite my religious beliefs, I am a Humanitarian first; Mass School Shooting hurt my soul just as much as Terrorist activities do. Except when a Terrorist attack happens in the name of Religion, I can’t help but feel responsible because that’s a person acting out in the name of religious and how can I expect people to be able to differentiate when every time we try to make progress, somebody will go ahead and do something despicable to besmirch the name of Muslims.

I would like to tell you, that I am truly sorry for how your culture is under threat; and I appreciate the kindness you have to see clearly.

I do hope things get better and a man with family should not have to be afraid of have to worry; sadly it’s what it’s come to now and I’m deeply saddened by your predicament.

If you ever make it out to Pakistan or Kashmir, Jonathan — please do contact me, you’ll find that people here aren’t too bad; we love foreigners and our cultural tradition is to invite guests visiting our country into our homes and offer them Food and Shelter. It’s a tradition we hold true to this day.
