There wasn’t a light
At the end of that tunnel

We often reserved
Our right to be worried

Signalling at the first glance
Of what it might have been

A torch of hope
Or endless misery

Countless hours
We’d often ponder

If only the light at the end of the tunnel
Was anything but hopes that devour

Us of what
We didn’t deserve

If only we knew
The beam of light

Would fail to ignite
Our miserable souls

Resting within all its might

To capture us from
In solitude.

I failed to learn the piano, so I decided I’d play the keyboard instead. //All aboard the Crazytrain.
