I hear you man, as much as empathy is important and understanding the root cause of a problem; we often find that in no uncertain terms, Equality often means “Special Treatment”.
Entitlement, to which one wants to contribute very little but bear the fruits of.

I work part-time as a DJ, and have been taken off gigs because “It’s going to be a majority Black crowd, and they won’t appreciate your set-list. Tensions might run high”. I understand, that’s personal music taste and I hold no ill will towards it — however that very logic is flawed. “It’s a Black crowd…”, so what? When did music become so much about Racial divide that special arrangements must be made. However that’s just one example, and not the primary motive for writing this article.

I often witness “white shaming”, assumption that a white person MUST be racist and any form of prejudice agains them is “justifiable because they’re racist”. That’s the same logic people use when talking about Muslims, “Well…not all are terrorists, but some of the…”
