I understand why this article frustrates so many people, they feel misrepresented. However, as stated many times earlier, it is my personal experience and not a broader social study. However, I do believe — using one wrong to justify another will not fix the problem. I remember watching Jackie Chan being asked how he saw himself, being a Leading Asian man in Hollywood, and he eloquently answered, “I wish to be seen as a human being…”.
